Norway has called for de-escalating the conflict and humanitarian truce to protect and assist civilians in Gaza. I stressed the need for assistance to get Norwegian nationals out safely', said Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide.

'I reaffirmef Norway's strong support to the Palestinian Authority,. Well-functioning Palestinian institutions and service delivery are crucial to avoid further destabilisation and preserve the objective of the two-state solution. We remain committed, including as chair of the AHLC.'
