Authorisations for Gjensidige Forsikring and for Kaupthing Bank hf to acquire shares in Storebrand ASA

The Ministry of Finance has, in a decision made publicly available ca. 17.30 Monday 19. March 2007, granted Gjensidige Forsikring authorisation to increase the company’s holding in Storebrand ASA to a total of 19,99 percent of the shares. Gjensidige Forsikring has been granted three months to complete the acquisition.

Kaupthing Bank hf. has been granted three months to complete the acquisition.
