NOU 2022: 10

In May 2020, the Norwegian government appointed a committee by royal decree with the assignment to carry out a comprehensive review of the General Purpose Grant Scheme for municipalities. In its report, the committee makes an assessment of the current General Purpose Grant Scheme and makes proposals for change. Three chapters of the report has been translated: Chapter 5 Principles for the design of the General Purpose Grant Scheme, Chapter 6 The current General Purpose Grant Scheme, Chapter 7 Local authorities’ tax revenues, and Figures to Chapters 5–7 in English.
