Industry
The Industry section is responsible for economic policy towards Norwegian industry, and it monitors policy developments in the energy and agricultural sectors.
The section is responsible for following up the Norwegian Government’s Roadmap for a Green Industrial Initiative, which focuses on the interaction between industry, energy and climate, and following up the Norwegian Government's battery strategy. In the area of climate and the environment, the section works to follow up the emissions trading regime, renewable energy initiatives, the CO2 compensation scheme and relevant elements of the EU's work on the Green Deal. The section also works with industrial policy in a regional policy perspective.
