The Ministry of Digitalisation and Public Governance (DFD) is responsible for policy formulation and administration in a number of key areas of society.
Areas of responsibility:
- Responsibility for operation and development of county governor offices
- Buildings, security and joint services in the Government Administration Complex
- Parts of the data protection policy, including the Personal Data Regulations
- Electronic communication
- Public administration policy, modernisation, ICT policy and digitalisation of the public sector, business-oriented ICT, Digital21 and resources for ICT research
- Contact ministry for the Royal House of Norway
- Government personnel and employer policy
