The new energy agreement between the Norwegian and Ukrainian Ministries of Energy and was signed by Minister of Trade and Industry Cecilie Myrseth and Ukraine's Minister of Energy Herman Halushchenko when they met in Berlin on Monday, June 10.
- The Memorandum of Understanding between Norway and Ukraine covers key areas of the energy sector, such as gas, renewable energy, networks, and the operation of power markets. These are areas where Norway has expertise and a strong business sector, and I am pleased that this can be useful in Ukraine. The agreement covers a wide range of topics, including renewable energy, energy efficiency, and smart digital solutions for the green energy transition and to strengthen energy security.
